Admission To ESCC
At ESCC, we believe college is for everyone who wants a path to something better. We’re making college more affordable, and more accessible, with more of the programs you need to find a high-paying job or fast forward your current career! Unsure where to begin? See our simple steps to starting your journey. Online and in-person classes are available with convenient schedules and flexible start dates, and we’re available remotely to help you enroll.
First-Time Freshman
Applicants currently still in high school, just graduated high school or never attended a college before enrolling at ESCC to obtain an associate degree. We encourage you to apply early, and you must apply for financial aid each year by completing the FAFSA available online at studentaid.gov.
The scholarship application is available online at escc.edu/scholarships. The application opens on November 1 and closes March 1. Scholarships are available for fine arts, athletics, programs, and leadership activities.
Dual Enrollment
Motivated high school students may earn both college credit and high school credit for courses taken at ESCC. Students must be in grades 10, 11 or 12, have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale, and have written approval from their high school counselor.
Adult Education
Are you looking for a change? The path to becoming a better learner, parent or worker starts with ESCC Adult Education. Our Adult Education program is your no-cost, one-stop-shop to get your GED or high school equivalency, Job Training, ESL and Family Literacy services. Whether that requires tutoring with you one-on-one in the daytime or evening or assisting you with basic computer skills, we are here for you.
Former Student Returning to ESCC?
If you attended ESCC in the past and are ready to return or applied but never enrolled, welcome back! You’ll need to reapply which can be completed in our Admissions Office or online.
Taking Classes at ESCC While Enrolled at Another School?
We welcome Transient Students or students that are enrolled at other institutions who wish to take courses at ESCC that will transfer back to their home college or university. For assistance, contact transient@escc.edu.
Transferring to ESCC
Are you looking to transfer from another college to ESCC? You’ll just need to submit an application for admission, as well as official transcripts from your previous college or university.
