ORIENTATION SESSIONS


DUAL ENROLLMENT ORIENTATION

Students attending Dual Enrollment Orientation will be set for success as they prepare for their college classes. Students attending orientation will receive assistance claiming their new Alabama.edu email and logging into Canvas, get their Student ID and Parking Pass for campus use, and more.

ESCC ORIENTATION – View Orientation Booklet

New Student Orientation is offered each summer for incoming college freshmen. Orientation is designed to give first-time college students an opportunity to learn more about Enterprise State, tour the campus, become familiar with College policies, and register for their classes. It is recommended that all students registering for orientation apply for admissions, submit an official high school transcript or GED, and submit a copy of your unexpired driver’s license to the College prior to the orientation session.

All incoming college freshmen are encouraged to attend an orientation session.

All orientation sessions will be held in the MPR in the L. B. Wallace Student Center on the Enterprise Campus.

All orientation sessions will be held in the LRC in Steagall Building on the Ozark Campus.

If you have been accepted to ESCC, now’s time to get ready for the start of your college experience. The best way to prepare is to attend ESCC Engage, our new student orientation experience!

During ESCC Engage, students receive valuable information about advising, class registration, parking, student IDs, and campus engagement. Be sure to register for an ESCC Engage session and get ready to map your course to graduation!

PRE-ORIENTATION CHECKLIST

1. Turn in official transcripts

Send us your final transcript or other missing documents. If you are in high school, your final transcript will be issued when you graduate. If you are currently enrolled at another college, this will be ready at the end of your current semester. 2. Complete the 2023-24 FAFSA

Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current year. When completing the FAFSA, please list the ESCC school code (001015) as one of the colleges you may attend. If you need assistance with completing the FAFSA, you can reach our team at financialaid@escc.edu or (334) 347-2623.

3. Take the Accuplacer test (if needed)

All new students who have not received satisfactory ACT scores are required to take the ACCUPLACER test. This test helps ESCC determine how to place you in Math, English, and, Reading classes if necessary. There is no cost to take this test. To find out more about the ACCUPLACER or to schedule a test, visit escc.edu/placement-testing.

3. Complete the Vehicle Registration Form

Students are required to have a visible parking decal on all vehicles used while on campus. Decals are available in the Campus Police Office located in Wallace Administration Building upon completion of a Vehicle Registration Form. Decals are FREE to students, and students can register up to FIVE vehicles for decals. Please complete the Vehicle Registration Form or find the form on the Campus Police page on our website.
