Graduation

Applying for Graduation

Filling out an application for graduation indicates that a student is planning to complete their degree or certificate program by the end of the indicated semester. Completing the application for graduation does not mean that a student must participate in commencement. Participation can occur if the application for graduation is completed by the established deadline.

Before applying for graduation, students must meet with an advisor in Boll Weevil Central or Student Support Services to complete a graduation audit. At that time, your degree plan will be reviewed to ensure you are on track to meet graduation requirements.

Following a graduation audit, students can complete their application for graduation through their MyESCC account. Access the application on the Student Common Forms card on the MyESCC dashboard. Students can indicate their interest in participating in commencement services through this form.

Commencement

Commencement for the Alabama Aviation College is Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 2PM at the Ozark Civic Center.

Commencement for Enterprise State Community College is Thursday, May 15, 2025, at 10AM and 2PM in Lolley Gymnasium.

The deadline to reserve your seat for Commencement 2025 is March 28, 2025.

Commencement is the formal ceremony to recognize students for their academic success. In order to participate in commencement, students must complete an official online application for graduation and indicate their interest in participating in the event. Students can graduate at the end of any semester,  but commencement is held once annually in May.

New procedures will take place for commencement ceremonies in May 2025

  • Commencement for Ozark Campus students (excluding dual enrollment students) will occur on May 13 at 2PM at the Ozark Civic Center. This ceremony will also be combined with AAC’s annual Honor’s Day event.
  • Ceremonies on the Enterprise campus will occur on May 15 at 10AM and 2PM in Lolley Gymnasium.
    • Students with A-M last names will participate in the 10AM ceremony.
    • Students with N-Z last names and all dual enrollment students, including AAC dual enrollment students, will participate in the 2PM ceremony.
  • When a student confirms participation in Commencement, Enterprise State will reserve their seat at the ceremony and provide eight (8) tickets for guests.
