Enterprise State Community College offers students unique opportunities through transfer agreements developed in partnership with select four-year institutions. These agreements enable students to transfer coursework not typically covered under the Alabama Transfers articulation system, ensuring a smoother transition to bachelor’s degree programs. Many of these agreements focus on specific career-oriented disciplines, reflecting a collaborative effort to support students in advancing their education and building on the technical skills gained at ESCC. Through these agreements, students are empowered to achieve their academic and professional goals efficiently and effectively.
ESCC-University Transfer Agreements
Enterprise State Community College and Athens State University offer Child Development students a pipeline to transfer credits easily toward a four-year degree through Athen State’s College of Education.
Students interested in pursuing careers in the agriculture industry can now start their education at Enterprise State and transfer into several related degree programs at the Auburn University College of Agriculture. Possible program paths for transfer are:
- Agricultural Science
- Animal Science
- Applied Biotechnology
- Crop and Soil Sciences
- Fisheries, Aquaculture, and Aquatic Sciences
- Horticulture
- Poultry Science
A transfer partnership between Enterprise State Community College and Auburn University at Montgomery provide concurrent enrollment and transfer scholarship opportunities for ESCC students. Through this partnership, ESCC students will have 13 concurrent enrollment pathways through AUM, including pathways in the business, education, liberal arts and science disciplines. AUM will offer an unlimited number of transfer scholarships to ESCC students who complete either an associate in arts or an associate in science degree and earn admittance to AUM by August 1 each year. The annual scholarship amount will be $500 for students with grade point averages between 2.75 and 2.99, $1,500 for GPAs between 3.0 and 3.49 and $2,500 for students with a minimum GPA of 3.5. AUM will also present one Presidential Scholarship, which covers full tuition and fees, to an ESCC transfer student with a minimum GPA of 3.5.
Enterprise State Community College has partnered with Troy University to provide several unique transfer opportunities to students pursuing Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degrees.
- Enterprise State Child Development students can transfer 18 credit hours to Troy University’s College of Education for its Early Childhood Education program, providing them with a head start in their teaching field courses.
- Mechatronics students at Enterprise State can transfer up to up to 64 semester hours toward Troy University’s Electronics Engineering Technology bachelor’s degree, which combines theory with hands-on experience through lab experiments that focus on electrical circuits and devices, robotics, automation, and more.
Enterprise State Community College and the University of Alabama offer Child Development students a pipeline to transfer credits easily toward a four-year degree through UA’s College of Human Environmental Sciences.
Mechatronics students can transfer 100% of completed program courses to the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Students must complete their degree with a minimum 2.0 cumulative CPA for transfer.
Enterprise State Community College students with at least a 2.0 GPA can transfer 100% of their completed credit hours to the University of West Alabama. Students who transfer with a 3.0 GPA or higher will be able to apply for academic scholarships that can be renewed for up to four consecutive semesters. ESCC students who receive academic scholarships and plan to live on-campus at UWA will also be eligible to apply for a non-renewable $2,000 housing scholarship for their first year at the university.
