On Campus Resources

Boll Weevil Blessings Box

The Boll Weevil Blessings Box is located in the Student Center Lobby. Feel free to grab any food items clothing, or any other donated items available.

Little Free Library

The Little Free Library is located on the Enterprise State Community College campus in Talmadge Hall. Books, games, and movies are available for free if you would like to grab something to occupy your free-time or for family movie night.

Hours of Operation are:

The SAIL Project offers safety and self-sufficiency for domestic violence victims and their families. The project also assists victims in dealing with domestic violence effects.

The Wiregrass Transit Authority helps locals travel throughout the area. The ride cost is $3.00 per person one way to any location within the Enterprise, Alabama city limits.

Coffee County Emergency Management Agency

Coffee County Emergency Management Agency implemented an emergency communication system to notify residents of:

  • Flooding
  • Severe weather
  • Fire
  • Terrorist attack
  • Drought
  • Wind
  • Tornadoes

Emergency Supply List

To prepare for emergencies in the wiregrass area, the Coffee County Emergency Management Agency recommends the following Supply List.

Basic Emergency Supply Kit

  • Water (one gallon of water per person per day for at least three days, for drinking & sanitation)
  • Food (at least a three-day supply of non-perishable food)
  • Battery-powered or hand crank radio and a NOAA weather radio with tone alert & extra batteries for both
  • Flashlight & extra batteries
  • First aid kit
  • Whistle to signal for help
  • Dust mask (to help filter contaminated air & plastic sheeting & duct tape to shelter-in-place)
  • Moist towelettes, garbage bags, & plastic ties for personal sanitation
  • Wrench or pliers to turn off utilities
  • Can opener for food (if kit contains canned food)
  • Local maps

Additional Items to Consider

  • Prescription medications & glasses
  • Infant formula & diapers
  • Pet food & extra water for your pet
  • Important family documents (such as copies of insurance policies, identification & bank account records in a waterproof, portable container)
  • Cash or traveler’s checks and change
  • Emergency reference material such as a first aid book or information from www.ready.gov
  • Sleeping bag or warm blanket for each person
  • Complete change of clothing including a long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and sturdy shoes
  • Household chlorine bleach & medicine dropper
  • Fire extinguisher
  • Matches in a waterproof container
  • Feminine supplies & personal hygiene items
  • Mess kits, paper cups, plates & plastic utensils, paper towels
  • Paper & pencil
  • Books, games, puzzles, or other activities for children
