Stump adds VP to title at ESCC

Chellye Stump, Dean of Administrative Services at Enterprise State Community College, has added Vice President to her title.
As Vice President/Dean of Administrative Services, Stump will manage the college’s Business Office, Information Technology, Institutional Effectiveness and Planning, Human Resources, Marketing, Community Engagement, and Grant Management. She will also assist in strategic planning and assists the President in leading the College in meeting institutional mission and goals.
Stump has 35 years of higher education experience, with 25 years of her career being at ESCC, serving the college as its System Software and Grants Manager as well as its Business Manager and Chief Accountant. Prior to her time at ESCC, she served as the Director of Financial Affairs for University College at Troy University.
“Mrs. Stump’s experience and leadership touch every corner of our college,” President Danny Long said about Stump’s new title. “Her commitment to excellence has never wavered over the last 25 years at ESCC, and we are proud to have her serve as the Vice President & Dean of Administrative Services.”
Stump said she is excited about moving into her new position, which she started on January 7, 2026.
“Thank you to Enterprise State for allowing me to serve our faculty and staff, our students, and our community as the vice president,” Stump said. “I will continue to follow the mission of our college to prepare our students for their futures and make our community better.”
