Jessica Goodson has been named Director of the Performing Arts Center at Enterprise State Community College.

Goodson may be best known as the president and co-owner of All About Art Studio in downtown Enterprise, which opened in July 2010. She has also served as an adjunct fine arts instructor at ESCC since May 2021.

Prior to the opening of All About Art, Goodson served as a client associate at Merril Lynch, a credit analyst at Sterling Bank, and the marketing and social media manager for First United Methodist Church in Enterprise.

As Director of the Performing Arts Center, Goodson will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Performing Arts Center, including staff management, budgeting, box office management, and facility maintenance. She will manage programming for the PAC while also leading marketing efforts to promote events and community engagement.

“I am thrilled to be joining the team here at ESCC in a new capacity and know that the future is bright for not only the new PAC, but also our community as a whole,” Goodson said. “I see this Performing Arts Center bringing our community together in so many wonderful ways. I look forward to artistic enrichment from the 600-seat theater, celebrations being held in our incredible lobby and community space, and countless relationships being formed through shared experiences in this unique facility. We are truly blessed to be given this opportunity here in Enterprise and for our surrounding communities and beyond.”

President Danny Long said he was excited to have Goodson lead efforts at the Performing Arts Center at ESCC.

“We’re excited about the opening of this new facility and the opportunities it will provide our community and our college,” Long said. “We have a vision for the PAC, and with Mrs. Goodson at the helm, I believe we’ll truly see this facility make a major impact in our community. I am excited to have her on board.”

Goodson started in her role on Tuesday, April 1.
