Get Involved at Enterprise State!

ESCC is home to a number of clubs and organizations that allow students to enjoy their time on campus outside of the classroom while also opening the door to networking opportunities with fellow students. ESCC has an active fine arts division, athletics program, a game room, and academic/leadership opportunities. If you do not find something for you, we are always open to starting new organizations on campus.

Ambassadors

The Ambassadors serve as the official hosts and hostesses for the College on both the Enterprise and Ozark Campuses. These students act as tour guides for visiting groups and also help with events on campus. In order to be selected as a mentor, students must be enrolled full-time, have a 3.5 GPA, complete an application, and participate in an interview.

Baptist Campus Ministries (BCM)

The Baptist Campus Ministries (BCM) is a Christian fellowship and service organization open to students of all denominations who are looking for an opportunity to get to know other Christian students. Weekly meetings, Bible studies, fellowships, state conventions, retreats, mission trips, and other activities provide opportunities for fun and spiritual growth. All students who are interested in growing spiritually and in making new friends are welcome.

ESCC Bass Club

The ESCC Bass Club consists of students who enjoy the sport of bass fishing. This club allows student anglers to compete in college and area bass fishing tournaments.

Bo Weevil

The Bo Weevil mascot is one of the many faces that represent Enterprise State Community College. Bo will attend functions on campus and in the community, such as the Enterprise and Ozark Christmas parades. Bo’s scholarship is awarded on an annual basis.

Rules & Expectations for Bo:

  • Maintain a 2.0 or higher GPA
  • Maintain a full-time student status (12+ credit hours for Fall/Spring semesters)
  • Attend several events throughout the year
  • Abide by ESCC Student Code of Conduct
  • Dual Enrollment Students are not eligible.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is a nationally supported, locally implemented program that teaches people how to be better prepared for hazards that may impact their communities and trains them in basic disaster response skills such as fire safety, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster medical operations.

The ESCC Campus CERT program supports and enhances existing emergency management capabilities at Enterprise State Community College and helps increase the preparedness and resilience of the on-campus community.

Circle K International

Circle K International is the world’s largest student-led collegiate service organization, with thousands of members on hundreds of campuses on five continents across the globe.

A collegiate branch of the Kiwanis International family, CKI is committed to developing leaders by offering unique service, leadership and fellowship opportunities that not only change the world but change members’ lives.

CKI members leave college with real-life networking and advocating skills AND service leadership.

CKI members are dedicated to childhood development, environmental justice, serving those who are food insecure or lack housing and mental health. We also partner with UNICEF USA to raise awareness about the need for clean drinking water worldwide.

Diamond Dolls

ESCC Diamond Dolls is an on-campus club of female students who enjoy baseball and want to support the team. The mission of this organization is to help promote the baseball team as well as other sports on campus and to encourage team spirit. Activities include making treat bags for the players, working concessions during home games, and encouraging team spirit to players and fans!

ESCC Concert Choir

The Concert Choir is a traditional choral group open to students and community members. The repertoire consists of music from many styles and genres. The Concert Choir presents several concerts throughout the year.

ESCC Cybersecurity Club

The Cybersecurity Club at Enterprise State Community College is a home for students interested in developing their skills and knowledge in cybersecurity. Students of any skill level are welcome.

ESCC Entertainers

The Entertainers is an auditioned group of singers and instrumentalists whose main purpose is to serve as ambassadors for the college and provide musical entertainment for area schools, civic and state organizations, military functions, and community activities. The group features an upbeat show with a repertoire from many styles and genres including show tunes, ballads, pop, jazz, and patriotic selections. Many selections are complemented with choreography and another staging. The Entertainers present many concerts throughout the year.

ESCC Gaming Club

The ESCC Gaming club is for students interested in gaming and serving others. If you enjoy playing console, PC, card, or board games, this is the club for you. Our club members enjoy playing the various genres of games, both new and old. Join the club to get access to our Discord server, attend our weekly gaming sessions on campus, take part and serve in college events, as well as serve in community activities organized by the club. This is a student-led club with elected officer positions available. Any ESCC student is welcome, including dually enrolled high school students.

History Club

The ESCC History Club is a student organization made up of students who are interested in the study of history. The club conducts a variety of activities to promote knowledge of the past and appreciation for history. Membership is open to any current Enterprise State Community College student.

Intramural Sports

The purpose of the intramural sports program is to provide an opportunity for students to participate in selected individual, dual, and team sports. Intramurals provide enjoyment and physical recreation during students’ college careers, contribute to student’s physical well-being, improve recreational skills for leisure time use in adult life, and aid in the development of sound emotional and social qualities. Participation is voluntary and all students are invited to take part.

Wellness Center

Enterprise State Community College offers a healthy life plan for students through its comprehensive Wellness Center. A state of physical, mental, and emotional health is something everyone desires and ESCC’s Wellness Center gives that help and support needed to develop a plan that promotes total wellness.

Students must first enroll in the Wellness (HED 226) course. In this course, students receive complete health factor assessments to develop their individual wellness plans which include a wide range of options. This assessment evaluates major components of fitness and includes an analysis of health risks, nutrition, body composition, flexibility, aerobic fitness, weight, blood pressure, and strength. This course is based on the six areas of the Surgeon General’s Report on Health Promotion and Disease Prevention: high blood pressure control, smoking control, alcohol, and drug misuse prevention, improved nutrition, physical fitness and exercise, and control of stress.

The Wellness Center programs and activities will be made available during the day and evening. Hours will be determined by needs and will be posted each quarter. Activities include: dance aerobics, aquatic exercise, weight training, jogging, walking, team sports, retirement adjustment, controlling weight, managing stress, improving nutrition and diet, improving self-esteem, stopping smoking, controlling smoking, controlling blood pressure, and modifying cholesterol. Equipment and facilities include: gymnasium, free-weight training area, Nautilus weight training area, aerobic training area, indoor walking area, outdoor FIT trail (walking path with workout stations), regulation quarter-mile surfaced track, tennis courts, grassed playing field, supporting classrooms, showers, and lockers.

Miss ESCC

The Miss ESCC Queen is one of the many faces that represent Enterprise State Community College. She will attend functions on campus and in the community, such as the Enterprise and Ozark Christmas parades. Miss ESCC holds her title for one academic year.

Rules and Expectations for Miss ESCC:

  • Hold a respectable reputation on and off campus.
  • Maintain a 2.5 or higher GPA
  • Maintain a full-time student status (12+ credit hours for Fall/Spring semesters)
  • Attend several events throughout the year as Miss ESCC
  • Abide by ESCC Student Code of Conduct
  • Avoid inappropriate behavior on social media sites
  • Dual Enrollment Students are not eligible to compete.

  • Word (Self Expression)
  • Evening Gown

National Society of Leadership and Success

The NSLS is the largest leadership honor society in the United States. Our chapter at Enterprise State Community College started in 2009. Our local chapter is part of of the national organization with 700+ chapters and 1.4 million members.

Students are selected based on exemplary academic achievement. As of 2021 we have 995 members who have access to:

  • More than $400,000 in scholarships.
  • An exclusive NSLS job board.
  • A personalized letter of recommendation.

The NSLS leadership program teaches the interpersonal skills that employers seek to give you an edge in the job market. Hear directly from current members as they share how their experience has changed their life.

Phi Beta Lambda (PBL)

Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) is the collegiate division of Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, Inc. (FBLA-PBL), the largest career student business organization in the world. Through PBL, students can develop leadership skills, take part in community service projects, and network with fellow students.

Scholars’ Bowl

At ESCC, the Scholars’ Bowl team travels throughout the state and nation competing with similar teams from other colleges and universities. It is a competition involving fast reflexes, great amounts of collegiate knowledge, and close teamwork. Scholarships are available.

Soccer Club

ESCC’s Soccer Club allows students to develop their athletic skills in the sport. All skills levels are encouraged to join and participate.

Student Government Association

The SGA is composed of four officers, seven sophomore senators, and seven freshman senators. All members of the SGA are elected by the student body. The purposes of the SGA are to provide liaison between students and the faculty and administration, to promote social and cultural opportunities for students, and to approve and charter all organizations which function on the campus.

The Interclub Council is a branch organization of the SGA. Organized in the fall of 1968, the purpose is to aid the SGA in coordinating club activities. The Interclub Council promotes communication among campus organizations and coordinates projects of mutual benefit and interest. Membership in the Interclub Council consists of one representative chosen by each campus organization. The SGA vice president serves as president of the Council and other officers are elected by the Council.

Student Support Services (SSS) Advisory Board

The ESCC Student Support Services (SSS) Student Advisory Council allows SSS students at Enterprise State Community College to develop their skills as leaders, participate in community service projects, and have a voice in the delivery of SSS services.
