W.O.W.

Welcoming Orientation Weevils is a group of well-trained student orientation leaders. who act as personal guides. New students participate in informative educational activities, get acquainted with other new students, and learn about expectations and opportunities of college life.

Each September, a new W.O.W. is selected. The team is made up of a diverse and dedicated group of 20-25 freshmen and sophomore students who desire to help other students, make new friends, and improve leadership skills. One semester scholarships are available which W.O.W. may earn. As a part of training, W.O.W. attends a weekly leadership class and travels to a Regional Orientation Workshop during spring semester. W.O.W. works during summer, fall, and spring orientations.
