HOW TO ACCEPT
FINANCIAL AID OFFER
STEP 1: Log into your MyESCC account
You must use your ESCC email address (first initial of your first name, full last name, and the first four numbers of your date of birth @student.escc.edu) and your date of birth in the format !ESCCmmddyy for your initial login credentials.
STEP 2: Select "Student"
On the Main Menu, select the “Student” tab at the top of the page.
STEP 3: Select "Student Landing Page"
On the next page, select the “Student Landing Page” option. This will then take you to the Student Landing Page, where you will find your Financial Aid Dashboard, where to make payments, how to access an unofficial transcript and more.
STEP 4: Select "Financial Aid Dashboard"
Your Financial Aid Dashboard will show your financial aid information for the current and past years.
STEP 5: Choose Aid Year
Make sure you have chosen the correct aid year.
If you plan to attend classes during the Fall 2023, Spring 2024, or Summer 2024 semester, your aid year would be 2023-24.
If you plan to attend classes during the Fall 2024, Spring 2025, or Summer 2025 semester, your aid year would be 2024-25.
STEP 6: Complete Title IV Authorization
Complete the Title IV authorization which will be the “Questions from the Financial aid office” in red. It is recommended to authorize this so that you can use your financial aid towards your balance and books.
STEP 7: Select Award Offer
Near the top of the page, you will find the option for Award Offer. This will show all financial aid offers for the year you are viewing.
STEP 8: Accept or Decline Aid
View your award offer and accept or decline your aid. This applies to any student loan offers you receive. If you receive a Pell Grant, those funds are automatically accepted and applied to your tuition amount.
STEP 9: Terms and Conditions
When you submit at the bottom, the Terms and Conditions should pop up for you to read over and then accept it. This outlines the terms and conditions for financial aid. Once you complete it, within 24 hours it will show on your unsatisfied requirements as completed.
If the Terms and Conditions do not pop up after you accept/decline your offer, you can access it by following these steps:
After logging in to your MyESCC account:
- Under the Financial Aid tab of your MyESCC account, select Award.
- Select Award for Aid Year. (Make sure the aid year is correct.)
- Select Terms & Conditions.
- Select Accept.
*IF YOU ACCEPT STUDENT LOANS
If you accept any student loans, please be sure to complete your Master Promissory Note and Entrance Loan Counseling with the Department of Education. These two forms must be on file for the loan funds to be eligible.
